World Premiere!
Buena Center for the Arts Forum, San Francisco, CA
February 23, 24, and 25, 2007
Time bombs, monsters, speeding bus drivers, getting hugged by someone you don't like - these are some of the more than 150 fears that stalk the stage in choreographer Kim Epifano's extraordinary multimedia performance "Fears of Your Life." Based on a book of the same name written by Michael Bernard Loggins, an artist with developmental disabilities at San Francisco's Creativity Explored, Epifano's new work explores our relationship with the sometimes serious and often humorous things that scare each of us. AXIS Dance Company, a critically-acclaimed company that integrates dancers with and without disabilities, performs the work on a stage that is transformed by Loggins' distinctive drawings into a vibrant and interactive world of art and animation, puppetry and poetry.

St. Louis, Missouri
"Cawville" is a place of evolution and extinction, where culture begins, ends, and begins again. Set high in the hills of a village, it could be anywhere, anytime. This is a place where humans become birds and birds become humans. These creatures sing and dance into the sky and down to the earth. Folklore speaks of black birds as humans, and from here our story begins...
In this Sonic Dance Theater piece, performers will sing, dance, play music, and tell stories. With sophisticated choreography and high velocity partnering, the stage will take flight in "Cawville. "
